TERMS & CONDITIONS
01 – PRICES
The prices listed include up to 75 minutes of play Prices shown in pounds sterling, including all taxes.
All other services that are not included in the initial reservation will be billed in addition.
One Way Out reserves the right to modify prices at any time. Services will be billed according to the rates in effect at the moment the order is placed.
02 – RESERVATIONS
Only person(s) of at least 16 years of age are permitted to book a One Way Out game. To enter the venue you must confirm the full name of the person who made the booking. You may be asked to confirm other contact details.
All reservations are processed in real time and are subject to availability. The sale will not be considered final until receipt of a confirmation email from One Way Out. The buyer’s bank account will immediately be debited for the amount of services booked.
One Way Out recommend that teams arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the game. One Way Out will accommodate for lateness where possible but you may be refused entry and you may miss your slot.
Bookings cannot be refunded. However, we will always endeavour to reschedule a booking if you cannot attend.
Please note the minimum and maximum number of players permissible for each game:
Framed and Gas Alert £50 for 2 players (minimum) up to £150 for 8 players (maximum of 8)
Toy Shop, Rhyming Room and Lost Traveller, Perfect Egg and Tagalong £50 for 2 players (minimum) up to £110 for 5 players (maximum of 5)
Yellowbeard’s Treasure Maximum 6 players. UP to £120 (maximum, of 6)
If you want to bring extra players on the day, up to the maximum limit for the room, you can pay the difference securely by card on the day.
03 – PAYMENT
One Way Out only accepts payment by card via the booking system and at the venue. No cash is kept on the premises.
You’ll need to pay in full, for the number of players you’re bringing, when you book online. If you are organising a large party, you may pay a deposit of £50 per room to secure your booking, then the balance on the day.
If you have brought fewer players to the venue than you have booked, no refund will be made. If you have brought more players the price difference will be settled on arrival.
One Way Out has entrusted its payment system to a specialist in online payment security. We do not keep any customer credit card information on our database.
04 - PERSONAL DATA
All data is handled with the greatest degree of care and discretion.
By booking through One Way Out you consent to the use of those items of your personal data which are necessary to ensure the proper processing of orders.
One Way Out undertakes to only use this database for information purposes and commercial offers only. One Way Out will not to divulge this data to third parties, except upon request by an authority empowered by law.
05 – SAFETY REGULATIONS
Each team in the booking must have at least one player that is 16 or above. If there are any players under 16 then a paying adult over 18 must be part of the group and it is their responsibility to look after younger members of the team.
Toy Shop involves heating water in a kettle to boiling point. It is the responsibility of the accompanying adult to look after younger members of the team.
Your team agrees to participate to play One Way Out Games at your sole risk.
Our escape rooms contain surprises which may make participants jump. Smoke machines are used. You may required to taste substances. You shall be solely responsible and accountable for your personal safety and state of health while you participate in One Way Out Games.
Although little physical strength is needed for the experience, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are fit to participate. You should not participate in any physical challenges if you are pregnant, prone to seizures or have any heart conditions. We will reserve the right to refuse entry if you appear to be in any way unfit for the experience.
Chemicals are handled in the Gas Alert game. These are safe when used as directed but no responsibility will be taken for skin/eye irritation or staining to clothes if chemicals are spilt or misused.
If you have any health conditions or concerns regarding the above, please contact us prior to booking and we will advise.
Regretfully, our site does not have wheelchair access upstairs due to the nature of the building. Toyshop, Perfect Egg, Christmas Tagalong and Lost Traveller are played downstairs and are wheelchair accessible by an outside lift. Please contact us prior to booking.
06 - GAME REGULATIONS
By purchasing, the buyer certifies that One Way Out games, components, and puzzles are to be regarded as confidential. Any full or partial disclosure or publication to any third party violates One Way Out business interests.
No phones or cameras allowed within any of our games.
You and your team must follow instructions from our game masters at all times. If they are not followed we reserve the right to eject you from the experience without refund.
Food and drink (except bottled water) may not be taken into the game rooms.
You are recommended to wear suitable footwear and clothing; no specialist clothing or equipment is required.
You shall not enter the site under the influence of alcohol or drugs. One Way Out reserves the right to refuse your entry to the site.
One Way Out reserves the right to charge the guests for any damage which is intentional or caused by misuse of items.
One Way Out does its utmost to offer you a game room that lives up to your expectations. However, the order, arrangement and casting of the game remain at the discretion of One Way Out and no complaints will be accepted in the case of a modification to the game.
It is strictly prohibited to take pictures, film or to record all or part of the game. You agree not share any of the solutions or processes that are involved in the game.
One Way Out declines all responsibility for any damage relating to objects belonging to customers.
CCTV is used to monitor the game. By participating in an Escape Room Game you consent to the use of CCTV in the game. Logs are held for no more than 30 days.
One Way Out does not tolerate any kind of harassment towards its employees and reserves the right to remove you from the premises without compensation.
At no point are you to use substantial force. If you deliberately damage something you will be liable to pay for damages.
We accept no responsibly for injury or death whilst on our premises.
07 - PROMOTIONAL OFFERS
Promotional codes must be claimed at the time of booking. Extra Player cards must be presented on arrival, limited to one offer per group.
