If you’re not sure which game is best for your group, here is a list of all our games in order of difficulty. Linear means puzzles are arranged sequentially, so good for new players or small groups. Multi-linear, means you can do a number of things at once. Gas Alert and Framed are maximum 8 players. Yellowbeard is maximum 6 players. The others are maximum 5 players. For children of 8-10 years I’d recommend Rhyming Room, Yellowbeard’s Treasure, Tagalong or Perfect Egg.

Perfect Egg: Easter Season only, 14 puzzles, linear plus an extra ten-egg heist (10 more puzzles) until your time is up.

You have snuck in to the laboratory of world revered scientist, Professor Wotamesser, in the hope of finding the ingredients needed for your practical jokes.

You accidentally knock over a bubbling flask, releasing an evil smelling gas into the air. Oh no!

Will you be able to find the antidote before the fumes finish you off and will you complete the science experiments and escape before the professor returns to discover who has messed up her life’s work?

FRAMED

Talented and eccentric musician Charlie Lagami is celebrating a big birthday with family and friends.

You arrive only to find the place deserted, the guests dispersed, and Charlie in quite a state - dead in fact!

Charlie has just managed to leave some clues to the attacker’s identity. Can you eliminate the innocent, reveal the culprit and get out of there before the detectives arrive? Or will you be caught with blood on your hands?

CLOSED Christmas and Easter to make way for seasonal games

You’ve always fancied a job in a toy shop. Here is your chance! But first you have to have an interview like no other.

Veronica Frolly, the toymaker, has set you a task to test your abilities. Obviously you need to be cheerful, efficient, and punctual. But most importantly you must be able to communicate with the toys.

You see, the toys in this shop come to life! The toys know the whereabouts of the spare key which will get you out of the room and secure your success.

Get the toys to tell you where the key is to escape and the job is yours! And Veronica is getting on a bit, she might even leave you her fortune.

RHYMING ROOM

Tilly Tonka needs testers for her new confectionary, a Rhyming Sweet, which is impossibly designed to make you speak in rhyme. But will it work?

The more puzzles you solve, the more the magic rhyming juice flows. Do you have what it takes to master the rhymes, release the magic and make your great escape.

Just watch out for those naughty Oompa Loompas.

This chocolate factory themed game is delicious fun for all. It is suitable for children’s party groups from about eight years - younger children will be fine in a family group. That’s not to say it’s easy! Even adults do sometimes struggle to escape. But it’s linear so you all play together one puzzle at a time. And don’t worry, it’s not a sugar overload. One little sweetie kicks off the game, that’s all.

Perfect for new players but experienced players will enjoy this room too - especially as there is a sweet reward at the end!

LOST TRAVELLER

75 mins |2-5 players | medium or hard

Instead of trying to get OUT of a room you’re trying to get IN to a rucksack which has been found in the woods. Access the pockets, crack the codes, and unlock its secrets. Work your way through the myriad of tasks to to work out how to reunite the lost traveller with his bag.

Designed to play in teams of 2-5 players. We have seven identical bags for big group parties so up to 35 (off site) can play this game at the same time.

This game can be played on or off site. You can play up to four bags (20 players) on site or up to seven bags (35 players) in your home or business. Play with a clue book and take as long as you like, or play against the clock with a gamemaster to help you. It can be sent by courier if you are more than 10 miles from One Way Out. This game is available at two levels, medium and hard. Only two puzzles separate the two levels but one of them is quite tricky so children’s groups or time limited groups would be better with the medium level.

PERFECT EGG

EASTER SEASONAL GAME

75 MINS | 2-5 PLAYERS | Make the Perfect egg then find as many eggs as you can before your time is up.

Susie Rabbit always makes the perfect egg for Easter, but this year she’s had a baby and is on maternity leave! She needs help!

She has left you all the instructions and ingredients to make the perfect egg. All you have to do is put all the correct ingredients into her amazing egg machine and make the perfect egg.

If you make the perfect egg in time you may start the Egg Heist. Ten Easter eggs hidden inside puzzles. But of course, it’s not that easy…

This game is designed to be suitable for new players and family groups but also a challenge for more experienced players because of the extra element of the Egg Heist. Only four teams have ever unearthed all ten eggs. Are you up for the challenge?

YELLOWBEARD’S TREASURE

Yellowbeard is dead, his treasure chest lies unguarded. Can you seize the treasure before the ship goes down?

Step onto a pirate galleon in the middle of a terrible storm on the high seas. Captain Yellowbeard, has been killed in battle and his ship is sinking.

You and your shipmates decide to try and help yourself to the contents of Yellowbeard’s legendary treasure chest before you are forced to swim for shore.

You’ve broken into his cabin to seize what you can, but you don’t have long before the shop goes down and you with it.

CHRISTMAS TAGALONG

CHRISTMAS SEASONAL GAME

It’s Christmas Eve. The work of the elves is done and Santa is on his way with his sleigh bulging with wonderful presents.

But as the reindeer accelerate away into the sky a little tag from one of the presents flutters to the ground. Oh no!

The tag bears the single name, Hazel. But who is Hazel and where does she live? Will she wake up on Christmas morning to an empty stocking?

The elves are just too exhausted to do any more. It’s up to you. They wearily throw you the key to the workshop and charge you with the task of saving the day. Can you navigate your way round the mysteries of Santas workshop, discover where Hazel lives and let Santa know where to deliver the present with the missing tag.
